Sunday 27/2/2005. Our supposed-to-be Sports Day

Gosh... Gave myself some thoughts yesterday bout what im gona do today. When i woke up an hour ago, 1st thing i did was look outside the window.. And guess what.. The weather's freakin nice! Heavy rain yesterday night, slight drizzle this morning. An ideal sports day weather for everyone. It's so cooling outside. Don see nor smell no haze today. There is some kinda burning smell whenever there's haze around fyi... Wtf man. and Mr. Ng himself said that the sports day will go on if the situation doesnt deteriorates drastically. Yesterday wasnt even a drastic haze. Omg... Jus bcos some stupid junior parent made a damn call, and everythin had to change. I wouldn't be so irritated now if the weather wasnt that good today. Had hoped there's haze today. That would've made me feel much better bout the cancellation of the sports day. However, cant blame the school entirely for this as its for the good of the students' health. Jus that...Argh!!! Damn the haze... Hope they postpone prefect's camp and have the sports day on this coming weekend.

But for now, i have no whatsoever idea to do for the rest of the day. Original plan was to have the sports day, win the cheerleading and hse cup for yellow, and go party out somewhere. Tsk Tsk... Don take this personal for the rest of da non-yellows yah? Ima yellow.. My post.. ;) Anybody who's got the same feeling as I do bout today and has nothin better to do, sms me pls cos Im bored to the core. chaoz...

WHAT THE HECK?! OMG! ALL THE PRACTICE TIME WASTED. WHOLE OF LAST WEEK UNDER THE BLAZING HOT SUN REHEARSALS FOR WHAT?!!! WHAT IS THIS?!!!! WHY IS NATURE DOING THIS TO US?!!! RUMOURS SAID IT WILL BE POSTPONED TILL AFTER EXAM! OMG! ALL THE MOOD GONE. NO MORE MOOD! CANNOT CONCENTRATE ON STUDIES. THIS SUCKS!

Latest Sports Update (25/2/05)

This is probably the Final Sports Update before the real thing.
And i'm not gonna make a table this time. I'm just gonna type it all out.

So pay close attention!

If you noticed from the previous update, Blue had 83 points, Yellow had 80 and Red had 68. If you remember properly, i mentioned something about point deduction and i didn't calculate that with the point deductions cause i wasn't sure if there is gonna be such thing.
Well i jus found out, there is. So if you minus 16 from Blue, 10 from Red and 7 from Yellow, the new points would be ..

Blue(67), Red(58), Yellow(73)

And the Football event has ended too.
Results :-

U-15:- 1st:Yellow(10)
2nd:Red(7)
3rd:Blue(4)

U-18:- 1st:Red(10)
2nd:Yellow(7)
3rd:Blue(4)

So erm, that is an additional 17 points for Yellow and Red. Blue got a total of 8 points that day.

If u add them up to the current points,
Blue will have 75, Red will have 75 and Yellow will have 90.

That is the current standings with MY own calculations.

If there's any mistake, or any changes,
someone else or myself will post another post to notify the changes or mistakes.

Blue House...
Don't give up hope yet.
We've fell a couple of times behind Yellow and Red.
But its not over.... so lets work together.
Blue House together till' the end.
No one will stop us from winning it again.
Remember to have fun too.

Latest Sports Update (19/2/05)

The Tug-of-War events for the junior school has already ended and congratulations to Yellow for grabbing the 17 points out of the total 20 that was up for grabs today.

There is also a new twist in the story. On the 17th, Thursday, students were punished due to them not wearing the complete sports attire required. Therefore, the sports coordinator for this year,Ms.Ki, has set a new rule whereby ONE point is deducted from the students' house. When i say student, i meant the students who did not comply to the sports attire rule. The results? 16 students were from Blue, 10 were from Red, and 7 were from Yellow. Certainly the whole world can notice that this is playing advantage towards Yellow house and no one will blame members from Blue if they're furious and angry at the situation.

However, Ms.Ki on 18th, Friday decided not to be so harsh and has set another rule. For the whole of next week, if NO students at all break the rules, the points deducted would be given back to the students. Suddenly now Yellow can minus 7 points for nothing if they don't behave next week. Therefore, this rule set is very very crucial and can prove to be a serious disadvantage for any house who fails to follow this new rule set.
Hence, here's the latest table standings. WITHOUT the points deduction.



If you want to calculate with the point deduction, just for your reminder, Minus 16 from Blue, minus 10 from Red and minus 7 from Yellow.
Please note also that the event 'Football' has not been played yet and the position of the houses entering Sports Day will be decided on that day.

Latest Sports Update (15/2/05)

Inter-house Basketball Competition just ended today in school. The grueling 7 hours tournament proves to be no less than all fun and excitement for everyone involved.
Congratulations to Blue for grabbing 27 out of the total 30 points up for grabs today.

For the events that are to be played in school, there's one more remaining sport. Football. Under 18 Boys and Under 15 Boys. 20 points total up for grabs. It is anyone's game. It'll decide everything. Which house will enter the Sports Day as the leaders? It's all decided on the day the whistle is blown on the pitch. Valuable valuable points.

As time passes by, "Wars" between 3 Houses has started... but it is yet to end.. Tug of Wars and Cross Country.... In these 2 Wars every individuals of Cahaya fought to their mightiest and with great team spirit... to emerge as the new Champion of Cahaya.

Latest update on Sports Day 2005

Yellow won Tug of War in both category of girls for the 1st time in 7 years. Defending U18 Tug of War Girls champions Blue lost its title.
Blue got lectured after loss at volleyball court.
Red and Blue frets as Cross Country pts are changed into 10 7 4 system. Yellow leads by few pts at the moment.
School envies Yellow spirit.
Red expects to win U 15 football.
Blue expects to win basketball. Confidence in U 15 girls.
Yellow expects to win U 18 football.
Athletics are undecided at the moment.
Cheerleading remains p&c. Blue keeps low profile.
Blue marching p&c deco ideas leaks to the knowledge of others. Committee feels unsatisfied.
Red confident in winning coming events.
